Villa Nakhil

Situated in a quiet area of the  historic rural village of Medinet Habu, with a sweeping view of the Theban mountains,  we welcome our guests to the boutique guesthouse Villa Nakhil. The village is easily accessible on foot and offers a choice of local supermarkets & restaurants/cafés. The Temple of Ramses III / Temple of Amon & a monastery are within 10 minutes walking distance from the villa. The central ticket office is located at the village exit where you can  buy tickets for The Valley of the Kings, Hapshetsut Temple & other major historical sites on the West Bank of Luxor. A choice of transport to the Nile and other sites is on hand either via taxi, local service buses or tuktuk. We can reccommend trustworthy drivers at very reasonable prices.

The 1st floor is dedicated to our guests. We offer two large Queen-size double bedrooms each with a private shower room and balcony. Both have a ceiling fan, table fan,  tea/coffee making facilities, free toiletries, hairdryer and towels. It is possible to add a fold down single child's bed in either room, at no extra cost.

We also offer one large "family bedroom" which has a Queen-size bed & a standard double bed, private shower room, walk-in wardrobe & a large private balcony with a view of the Theban mountains. There is also space for a fold down single child's bed ( at no extra cost). The large, shady balcony has a comfortable seating area as well as table & chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast in private. The room is equipped with a ceiling fan and air conditioning for the summer months, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer & towels.​

Guests in the three rooms can also relax in a private lounge area on the same floor. There is also a communal fridge, an iron and ironing board,books & board games for guests to use at no extra cost. 

All guests are welcome to enjoy the shady garden & patios and outdoor swimming pool. We provide beach towels for all guests. Barbecues are available on the ground floor and the roof. For the chillier winter nights we also have outdoor firepits.

Our sweet/savoury buffet style breakfasts are legendary! All products are fresh and locally sourced. We like to offer our guests a selection of products not normally available in the big hotels. We also try to cater for any special dietary requirements. Just tell us what you enjoy...!  Breakfast can be served on the ground floor terrace, in the lounge area or, as many guests prefer, we offer a personalised room service for you to enjoy your breakfast on your balcony. 

If you wish to relax at the villa in the evening, we can arrange for a choice of takeaway deliveries and home-cooked dinner can be ordered 24 hours in advance from an extensive international menu. Wine and beer are available at cost price.
